Multi-Pronged Investment Strategy

Office Investment Philosophy | Frontier Market Specialist

MGC is a frontier market specialist, focused on building high-integrity enterprises across the world’s most promising yet underserved geographies. Our mandate is driven by deep sectoral expertise, disciplined capital deployment, and a long-term view of value creation.

MGC’s portfolio is anchored in four strategic verticals:

  • Mining & Natural Resources – focused on gold, copper, and other strategic minerals vital to the global transition

  • Private Capital – a commodity-focused platform engaged in structured trades and off-market investment opportunities. Upstream and midstream alignment in resource-rich, frontier basins

Across these sectors, we seek to align commercial success with economic transformation, delivering both performance and impact:

  • Direct and indirect exposure to global markets through proprietary vehicles and institutional partnerships, with a focus on emerging markets and alternative investment strategies.

  • Long-hold positions in assets, prioritising jurisdictions with regulatory depth and scalable reserves.

  • Focused on capital preservation, yield, and inflation-resilient performance.

Governance, Risk & Stewardship

Our investment process is governed by a robust institutional framework, underpinned by:

  • Independent investment and advisory committees

  • Comprehensive due diligence and stress testing

  • Clear alignment with long-term capital preservation and value creation objectives

This approach ensures MGC remains agile in execution, rigorous in governance, and uncompromising in our commitment to stewardship and sustainable value.
